Light is the essence of photography and it’s the factor that may change the story of every object. When it’s about photographing exteriors, I’m always looking for a perfect sides of the story. For example, I take shots of projects during the „blue hour”, to catch that ethereal moments with dark clouds or clear blue sky. The second goal is to breathe some life into the image with people passing around. Sometimes, I am the only person around, then I delay the shutter and enter the frame myself.
The professionals from the light industry put a lot of work to show the beauty of their ideas. I aim to capture the author’s vision and enrich it with creative insight. Though the processes are different, both interior and exterior photo projects are demanding. Patience and focus on the details are a must – I have to take many shots with different exposure time.

Then I can proceed to the next stage – the post-production, which also requires a lot of skills to hone the images. At the end of the day, the outcome is stunning. The vision of light designers and my own perspective result in eye-catching images. It’s very exciting, to manage to show the unique lighting story.
